On 10th August 2024, Rattan House had the honor of participating in the 79th Anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The event was graced by His Excellency Nguyen Khac Dinh, Vice President of the Vietnam National Assembly, along with Dato Seri Setia Haji Abdul Manaf bin Haji Metussin and His Excellency Tran Anh Vu, Vietnam Ambassador to Brunei.
In celebration, Rattan House conducted three exclusive workshops for our esteemed guests, each showcasing the art of traditional craftsmanship and cultural exchange:
- Vase Painting Workshop: Blending Brunei and Vietnam elements, symbolizing unity between the two nations.
- Rattan x Mother of Pearl Coaster Making: Highlighting natural beauty and intricate design.
- Macrame Lotus Workshop: Creating a lotus, a symbol of Vietnam, through the art of macrame.
We are honored to have shared this cultural experience with such distinguished attendees and look forward to future collaborations that celebrate the bond between Brunei and Vietnam.
