On 4th September 2024, our founder Maisarah had the honor of participating in a conversation on women’s entrepreneurship in Brunei at the U.S. Ambassador’s Residence. The event, hosted by U.S. Deputy Chief of Mission to ASEAN, Kate Rebholz, and U.S. Ambassador Caryn McClelland, brought together inspiring leaders to discuss the role of women in shaping Brunei’s entrepreneurial landscape.
Fresh from the YSEALI Workshop in Yogyakarta, Maisarah is more passionate than ever about using Rattan House to celebrate ASEAN culture. Her vision is to weave the rich cultural traditions of ASEAN into each piece, fostering sustainable businesses that build unity across the region.
At Rattan House, we are committed to blending cultural appreciation with entrepreneurial growth to position ASEAN as a beacon of tradition and innovation. Together, we’re working towards a future that honors our heritage and drives meaningful impact.
