On 24th August 2024, the ASEAN Textile Exhibition at Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) celebrated the textile heritage of 11 ASEAN countries under the theme “Towards a Greener Future: Confluence of Creativity and Innovation.” The event showcased the evolution of textile art, merging traditional craftsmanship with sustainable, innovative practices.

The exhibition was honored by the presence of Yang Mulia Pengiran Haji Mohd Hasnan bin Pengiran Haji Ali Hassan, Permanent Secretary of Culture, and Yang Mulia Dr. Siti Norkhalbi binti Haji Wahsalfelah, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Culture, highlighting the importance of preserving cultural heritage while embracing forward-thinking innovation.
