Our mission is to celebrate the rich cultural heritage of ASEAN by connecting artisans, empowering communities, and inspiring a new generation to value and sustain traditional craftsmanship.
Our Mission
At SEATCE, we aim to:
- Document: Build a comprehensive encyclopedia featuring crafts from across Southeast Asia, both in print and digital formats.
- Preserve: Partner with artisans to pass down their skills to younger generations through workshops and training programs.
- Empower: Connect artisans with microfinance opportunities, markets, and mentorship to elevate their craft and livelihoods.

Our Story
SEATCE was born from our founder Maisarah Nguyen’s passion for cultural preservation, rooted in her upbringing in a Vietnamese craft village. Today, SEATCE stands as a platform uniting artisans, embassies, and cultural enthusiasts across ASEAN to ensure the survival of these timeless traditions.
